Bill Johnson forces you to think your way around the Links Course at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in Phoenix
PHOENIX -- The Links Course at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the newer of the facility's two courses, and it's one of the more original golf courses you'll find in the Phoenix-Scottsdale resort corridor.
Course architect Bill Johnson forces you to think on a course that weaves around and features more uneven lies than you might find in a full two weeks of tame resort golf. At Biltmore Links, fairways are titled at crazy angles, greens are tucked around bends, and spraying it wild is a recipe for a long day.
Biltmore Links is across the street from the the Arizona Biltmore Resort, and its course conditions reflect the luxury neighborhood. Radio legend Paul Harvey had a big estate on the course, and there is also a privately-owned original Frank Lloyd Wright house right off the 18th hole.
