Great layout, good conditions - ignorant starter - Mason, the starter, shouldn’t be in the service industry in any capacity

We lucked into this course. Driving out of Tucson, I asked my GPS for a course close by. Pulled into the parking lot and thought, this course is going to be EXPENSIVE. To my surprise, the cost was more than reasonable. And we were teemed up with two older gentlemen who were just an absolute treat to play with. The course layout is amazing. The views are spectacular. Would go back any time. And highly recommend it to others.

A Jeckyll and Hyde kind of course, the front and back are as different as night and day.
The front is entertaining enough - plenty of changes and challenges for everyone. For the long drivers, two of the par 4s are realistically driveable (4 & 9)and some birdie opportunities can be found on many of the others.
Once you make the turn, the course enters the heart of the quarry. Elevation changes, narrow fairways, cliff-side dropoffs, and small greens make par a great score. Although the back is only par 35, expect to be playing a bit more defensively. Plan every shot carefully and you can scort. Let your mind wander and big numbers will result!
We played in late July and the greens were in poor condition and incredibly slow. Otherwise, one of the funnest rounds you can play in the Tucson area!
