Robert Trent Jones Jr. blends Dove Valley Ranch into a near-perfect mix of challenge and playability. He built a series of bunkers to blend into the land, but also provided a lot of large landing and bailout areas.

Dove Valley also sits on historic land. As early as A.D. 300, the Hohokam people lived on the very same land the golf course sits on today. These people were known as the first farmers of the southwest. In fact, shards of clay pottery have been found by golfers searching in the surrounding desert for errant balls. The beautiful clubhouse also has its display of relics as well.

I played golf last Sunday and I was so disappointed. Marshall came to the 15th hole and told us that play was too slow and he kept following us until the 18th hole. I felt like someone was watching and I could not play golf. When we finished the 18th hole and checked the time, it took about 4 hours and 20 minutes. I think I played golf on average. I do not know why I should be stressed when I play golf and I feel so bad. So I will not use this golf course anymore. If someone uses this golf course, I would suggest not to go there. I am really regretful about driving long distance from Los Angeles to Phoenix
