Pete Dye and perry Dye designed the golf course at Red Mountain Ranch Country Club. He incorporated some of his trademark elements including deep bunkers and mounding reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses that are reinforced with railroad ties. The challenging layout also features steeply contoured greens, wide fairways, and water comes into play on a few holes. The golf course takes advantage of the natural challenges of the desert landscape as well, utilizing the saguaros, mesquite trees, and interesting rock formations that are scattered across the terrain. The elevation changes at Red Mountain Ranch Country Club provide spectacular views of the surrounding valley and mountains to the west. This scenic, complex golf course is considered one of Pete and Perry Dye's masterpieces.
